Paul Choate
Owner
Paul grew up as the son of Russ Choate, a home builder known for his unwavering commitment to quality and integrity. After graduating from UConn in 1994, Paul decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a career in building. In 1996, he founded Choate Builders, LLC to carry on that legacy.
For Paul, it’s not just about delivering excellent project results—it’s about making sure every client is not only happy but genuinely delighted with the entire experience. From the very first phone call to project completion, Choate Builders, LLC follows a clear, simple process that makes the journey easy and stress-free for clients. At the same time, Paul ensures everything is detailed and organized for the team, so every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Andrew Strever
Operations & Customer Success Manager
Andrew has been with Choate Builders, LLC since 2024, but his experience and impact on the company span over a decade. Before joining us, Andrew managed Ontra Stone, where Paul frequently collaborated with him on successful kitchen and bathroom projects. Andrew plays a key role in the company’s ongoing success.

Project Manager
James is our newest addition, and he’s already proving invaluable in keeping projects running smoothly. With over 20 years of experience in carpentry and project management, James ensures that our projects stay on track, on budget, and always meet or exceed customer expectations.

Mario has been with Choate Builders, LLC since 2018. With over 20 years of experience as a master carpenter, Mario is renowned for his exceptional craftsmanship and his ability to tackle the challenging issues that inevitably arise on projects, all while maintaining a steady and focused approach. His expertise, from framing to fine trim, is essential in delivering high-quality results on every project we undertake.
